📄️ Overview
Corso's Commerce API is used by merchants to manage data about their orders, including basic data about the orders themselves as well as follow-up information such as any fulfillments that occur associated with an order.
📄️ Authenticating
The Corso Commerce API is protected, and can be accessed by requesting a token via an OAuth2 Client Credentials flow. This allows your application to authenticate with the Corso Commerce endpoint after requesting a token from https//oauth.net/2/grant-types/client-credentials/. Specific implementation details are out of the scope of this documentation, but most languages, libraries, and frameworks have full support for this method of authentication.
📄️ Introduction
The Corso Commerce API is designed to be accessed by e-commerce systems that need to send orders to Corso for potential coverage under Green Shipping Protection. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the Corso Shop API, sending orders to Corso that have been quoted for Green Shipping Protection and where the customer has elected to purchase it.
